About Us

East Gippsland Marketing is a not-for-profit organization that acts on behalf of the East Gippsland community to promote the many strengths of our diverse region. Our primary goals are to:

- Raise the profile of the East Gippsland region as a desirable destination to visit, live, work and invest.

- Increase local awareness of the region and its attributes to encourage residents and stakeholders to act as ambassadors for the region.

All marketing activities conducted by East Gippsland Marketing are funded by the local business community, East Gippsland Shire, and where available, State Government grants. A list of our contributors can be found here.

We strongly believe that regional Victoria, and in particular, East Gippsland, offers Australians great opportunity to achieve the ultimate work / life balance so that they can spend more time doing the things they love and spending time with the people they love.

With lakes, mountains, an extensive coastline, three river systems and large areas of national park, the region is clean, green and beautiful – a great place to live, work and invest.

Our activities are overseen by a volunteer Board of Management who all share a passion for sustainable economic development in the East Gippsland region. They recognise that this cannot be achieved without a co-ordinated approach to regional marketing, and as such work with the business community to encourage this level of co-operation and involvement.

Our nine Board members are as follows:
